Greg Singley received his college education at Walker College, Jasper, Alabama and the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. He attended the Ringling School of Art for his art training in Sarasota, Florida and graduated with a degree in commercial illustrationIn 1978 Singley moved west to Phoenix Arizona. Singley worked as an illustrator and art director with the The Arizona Republic & Phoenix Gazette.During the years in Arizona, Singley painted Native American Indian and cowboy subjects He said: “It was the works of Paul Pletka and Fritz Scholder that brought me West.”
